Introduction of the “German model for Mobile Youthwork with people at risk”

Together with the association “Sautschastie”, Varna, the “International Society of Mobile Youth work” (ISMO), Stuttgart, Germany, and the Directorate “Preventions”, municipality of Varna, the Social Association St. Andrew introduced the “German model for Mobile Youthwork with people at risk”. A draft has been worked out for Mobile Youthwork with people at risk in Varna”. This project has been financed by the Directorate “preventions”, the municipality of Varna and “Aktion Mensch”, Bonn, Germany. In the 3-day-seminar, the experts that took part included the “municipal and regional commissions for the fight against deviated behaviour of minors, public educators, outreach-workers and volunteers, who work with young people with risk behaviour, representatives of the state and municipal power, NGO-s, police and educational institutions. In the final meeting of the project outreach workers from the new pilot of Mobile youth work in a quarter of Varna shared their first hand experience with us.
